Hello and purpose of journal

OK - this is the LiveJournal for the FilkArchive site at http://filkarchive.scrumpy.org. The idea is that it will serve two purposes. First, its a place to discuss anything about the archive - what's in it, what *should* be in it, how its presented, what features could be added - all that sort of thing. There will also (if I get my perl code right) be an automatic posting here when a new song is uploaded or an announcement made.

What this isn't is a personal blog, I'm afraid - anyone after gory details of my private life is going to be disappointed! Hopefully it will be a useful addition to the main archive site.
